How to be a Healthy Trucker – Bancroft & Sons
It may not always be easy to resist the temptation to eat fast food, especially when you’re out on the road. But, a healthy trucker is a happy trucker! The healthier you are, the better you’ll be at your job and the more money you’ll make. We’ve made a list of some of our favorite snacks to fight off cravings & keep you healthy!
Raw nuts – dry roasted, unsalted or raw nuts make the perfect snack! Just make sure to keep in mind the serving sizes!
Hummus & Veggies – Hummus will keep you full until your next meal, in order to add more nutrients try dipping carrots or raw peppers in it!
Rice Cake & Peanut Butter – This is a nice balanced snack that will fill you up!
Jerky – Jerky is a great snack because it is low in fat and high in protein.
Energy Bars – Energy bars contain a lot of essential nutrients & protein! Make sure to look for ones with a low amount of sugar.
