Our trucking jobs offer health care coverage through United Health Care. New employee coverage will begin on the first of the month after their first 60 days. Coverage is mandatory and automatic for employees. If you wish to have coverage for your spouse and/or children, you must enroll them into the program. Dental / Vision Insurance

Holidays

Ten Paid Holidays per Year!

401K Information Eligibility

• Must be 19 years of age.
• Must work at least 1000 hours annually.
• Must be employed at Bancroft and Sons for at least one year at the time of enrollment.

Rules

• Open enrollments are during the months of January and July.
• Contributions will be tax deferred, meaning they will be deducted before payroll tax is calculated.
• Company vested at 20% after your second year of employment.
• Company vested at 40% after your third year of employment.
• Company vested at 60% after your forth year of employment.
• Company vested at 80% after your fifth year of employment.
• Company vested at 100% after your sixth year of employment.
• Should your employment be terminated before your six year anniversary, you will receive the percentages listed above. You will always own 100% of your own contributions.

Bancroft and Sons will match 25% of your contributions up to 6% of your gross wages.

CDL A Solo Driver - DFW Based

Bancroft & Sons Transportation is currently hiring experienced Solo CDL A drivers based out of the Dallas Fort Worth area. We are a family owned and operated carrier since 1969, focused on steady freight, structured routes, and long term stability.

We are currently hiring Solo drivers for:

• Dedicated one way freight lanes to Kansas, Illinois & a few other areas
• Solo USPS mail haul routes
• Additional dedicated solo runs as needed and some TEAM runs

These positions are based out of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Route Options

Drivers have the flexibility to:

• Stay moving on our Kansas and Illinois dedicated lanes
• Stay out 1 to 2 weeks with a couple of days home
• Work within structured, consistent freight lanes

We focus on predictable operations and steady miles.

Pay & Freight

• 60 CPM
• Consistent dedicated freight
• Weekly pay
• Solo positions only
• Late model equipment
• Professional dispatch support

Our freight mix allows drivers to stay active on established lanes!

Home Time

Depending on the lane, drivers can run steady dedicated routes or choose to stay out 1 to 2 weeks followed by a couple of days home. We prioritize consistency so drivers can plan their schedules with confidence.

• Minimum 1 year OTR experience or 2 years in Tractor/Trailer
• Clean MVR
• Professional work ethic
• Must live within reasonable distance of DFW
